Every year my family and my parents go "over the river and through the woods" to Bonnie and Rich's house in the country. I love this tradition and this special time to have our parents together. Rich cooked a delicious dinner with many veggies from his garden. He even cooked homemade corn bread in a cast iron skillet! We ate dinner with a fire burning in the kitchen with us. After dinner we talked, laughed and even sang Christmas carols. It was such a fun time together! We looked at lights on the way home including our favorite lights on Fix it Shop Road. It is a little drive away, but it is worth it. This year they have a path through their property so you could drive through it. It was incredible!

Please send me details on Fix It Shop road Christmas lights (probably too late for this year, though). I know exactly where that is!
