The girl's birthday party was so much fun this year! They both invited 5 friends from their classes and our next door neighbors and we all headed to our favorite pizza place...Amante Pizza! Everyone got to decorate their own apron and hat while we waited for all of their friends to arrive. They loved drawing on them and got very creative! This was the favor that everyone got take home with them. Then it was time to make pizzas complete with throwing the dough up in the air. Everyone got to make their own. They did a great job spreading the sauce and putting on the cheese and any toppings that they wanted. Ramon, the main guy, is so energetic and made it so special for them. When it was time to put the toppings on he said "who wants fried bats?" and "who wants worms on their pizza?" He knows how to make a kid laugh for sure! He asked the girls how old they were turning and when they said 6, he said "I'm six too!" The girls thought he was hysterical! After eating lunch we served the girls cake. We got a cookie cake this year that was decorated like a pizza! It had pepperoni and green peppers! The girls loved it and it was fun to have something different from the normal cake. They got lots of sweet gifts including the new Taylor Swift CD which they were most excited about! They had the best time turning 6 with all of their friends!!
