second time around

When we left CB we stopped in Wilmington to do something really special...again....get the girl's ears pierced. For those of you don't know the girls got their ears pierced last December for their birthday. After 8...count them 8 weeks we changed their earrings for the first time. They had a ball putting in different earrings. They took them out one night around dinner time and I said it would be ok if they slept without any that night. The next morning bright and early they picked a pair to wear and they would not go in...at all. All three of us started crying and I even called my mom to come over and help me. We pushed as hard as the girls could stand, but nope, they were not going in! They have been patient waiting for their previous holes to heal and 8 months later they got them pierced again. It was worth the wait because this time they got to go to Sweet and Sassy in Wilmington and their cousins got to go with them!!! Sweet and Sassy was the cutest place ever!!! They had a little shop in the front with tons of bows, earrings and everything girly. They also have a pedicure area for little girls, they even get to wear robes, and a salon area to get your hair cut and blown out!! They girls favorite thing there was a runway!!! They walked and strutted and had some adorable poses....even Susu got in on the action. After Sweet and Sassy we walked and got some ice cream all together. This day was such a fun way to end our trip and we have learned our lesson, do not go even 12 hours without earrings in your ears!!
