I can't believe my girls are four years old! They are so excited to be four and have told everyone they have seen. They actually are already saying "I'm almost five"....let's not get ahead of ourselves girls! On their birthday we followed tradition and had a family party at our house. Both sets of grandparents came as well as their "third" set...the Gouges. Lisa and Dustin also came into town that day so they got to celebrate with us too! We had pizza for dinner and Nanny made the best care bears cupcakes and the girls loved opening all of their gifts. Their favorite one was from susu a big box with all seven Disney princess barbie dolls in it! They have not stopped playing with it since. They love changing all the clothes and doing their hair. It is really funny to see Mulan in Bell's dress! My favorite part of the night was after dinner and presents....music time. My mom played the piano, Jay played the mandolin, Dustin the bongo, Lisa the shaker and everyone else had instruments from Claire and Ava's playroom. It was so much fun....we sang tons of Christmas carols and my tummy hurt so bad from laughing when the family band time was over. It is definitely a new tradition for their party! It was a wonderful day of celebration and we are so thankful for our girls and what they mean to us! Thanks to everyone who called and stopped by this week....you really made Claire and Ava feel so special!
