Merry Christmas

We had the best time celebrating Christmas as a family and we are still celebrating! Jason's brother and family fly in tomorrow from Florida! It is so amazing to tell the girls the true Christmas story...about the birth of Christ our Savior. They love to listen to it and now this year could tell it to me and Jay. I love hearing them say he was born in Bethlehem. We started Christmas day off at our home with just our family of four. Ava walked right in our room and said "Good Morning mommy and daddy...it's Christmas morning"! It was one of the best wake up call I have even gotten! She and Claire were super excited to go down and see what Santa had left them. I got the camera ready and down they came. They got a dollhouse, people and furniture for each room. They also got toy trumpets which they had asked for two years in a row! They also got a few small items and have had so much fun playing and pretending with it all! We went to Zebulon for lunch and celebrated with Jay's extended family. They girls had the best time seeing Keegan and Kelsey (Jay's cousins children). The weather was just beautiful so they got to run around outside and ride bikes too! After Zebulon we came back to our house and my parents came to spend time with us and have dinner. We ate, played, laughed and jammed out to Dad's ABBA CD that I got for him...we love Mamma Mia! The girls also made up some very creative dance routines to the songs. It really was such a wonderful Christmas day!
