tradition

Tonight we went on an adventure to Coats, NC. You may be asking yourself "What is in Coats"...well the answer is Ron's Barn and a pumpkin patch of course! We started this fun tradition five years ago with our good friends Chip and Christy. Now we get to go with our children too! It was fun having the van because we all got to ride together and watch Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin on the way down to get ready for our night! Every year we start out going to pick out pumpkins at a couples house on the side of the road! Then we drive a few more minutes to Ron's Barn for some yummy BBQ and veggies. We now jokingly call the veggies "yellow veggies" because they are cooked in so much butter...that makes them so good of course! We had so much fun tonight and the girls all did great! They had enjoyned eating and coloring...Ava ate three bowls of applesauce! I have always loved traditions, but love them even more now that we can make them as a family!
