The girls' sweet friend Kate is turning 5 this week! We were able to celebrate with her yesterday at her Hello Kitty party! It was the cutest party with all things kitty including a visit from Hello Kitty herself! The doorbell rang half way through the party and when Kate opened the door she was so thrilled to see Hello Kitty standing there. Kate and her mom had mailed Hello Kitty and invitation to the party, but Kate did not know if she would be able to come. It was such a fun thing to keep as a surprise to Kate. All of the kids got to paint a hello kitty picture, play kitty bingo and decorate a cupcake to look like Hello Kitty. They enjoyed all of it so much! After the party was over my girls and Emmy and Kate exchanged their birthday gift to and from each other. We had waited until Kate's party for them to open them since we got them all the same thing. They were so excited to get a backpack and a lunchbox for their dolls!!! All four of them got new dolls for Christmas, so now the dolls can pretend they are going to school. It was a great day spent with wonderful friends! Happy 5th birthday Katie!! We love you!
