doggie visit

My friend Maris came to visit this week with her sweet little girl Tyler and her adorable dog Zelda. The visit from Zelda was a total surprise to the girls. It was so hard to keep it a secret all week, but I knew it would be more fun for them to be surprised! When Maris rang the doorbell the girls ran to get it and yelled "Zelda"! She was sitting on the front porch with her head cocked to one side. She is the sweetest dog! The girls were with her on her 9th birthday last year and she turned 10 last week! They followed her all around the house, got her some water and laid down with her in several different places throughout the house. My favorite was when Zelda put her head down on Claire's pillow pet!!! The girls and I also had so much fun with Tyler. She is going to be one this month...she is growing up so fast. They had fun feeding her and even found an old bib of theirs for her to wear! They also got some of their old toys out for Tyler to play with....little people, instruments and a leapfrog train. I loved talking with Maris and eating the same lunch that we have every single time we see each other...Taza Grill!
