I had a wonderful birthday yesterday thanks to all of the hugs, cards, phone calls, and fb messages I received. My day started off with the girls and Jay coming into and singing happy birthday to me and giving me cards they had made. They were so sweet and pretty! Mom and dad soon called and I got another sweet happy birthday song! Pretty soon after that the doorbell rang and my awesome next door neighbors had written me a birthday chalk message and were not only singing to me, but dancing as well, it was so hilarious! As I walked the girls to school, I even got birthday greetings from friends as they drove by. It was only 9:00 in the morning and I was already feeling so loved!! My sweet mom dropped by and put balloons on the mailbox, I felt just like a little kid again! She tells me every year about the day that I was born and how the doctor asked my parents, "Do you believe in God"? When they answered yes, he said, "God delivered your baby". Like every year when mom tells me this story we cried together!!! Jay took me out for my birthday on Sunday night...my choice of course was Sawmill Tap Room. I love their salads and am obsessed with their fried pickle chips. Last night we went to Goodberry's as a family and my dad surprised me there with flowers! It was so fun to celebrate with Jay, the girls and my dad!!! Turning 34 was not bad at all!
