father's day

We had a wonderful Father's Day this year. We let Jay pick where he wanted to go for lunch and he chose a family favorite...Salsa Fresh. I honestly think I could eat there everyday!!! That afternoon we let him lay down on the couch and watch whatever sports he wanted to. Of course his number one choice was the US Open. After relaxing we went to my parent's house for dinner. The girls enjoyed coloring with daddy, playing checkers with grandaddy and singing silly songs with Susu. The songs were even too crazy and silly for the blog. The boys...dad and Jay were in the den watching golf and us girls were in my parents bedroom singing and laughing. They had to come check on us to make sure were were ok because were were laughing so hard! My highlight of the day was giving Jay his Father's Day gift. He got three York peppermint patties....one from each of us. Then we gave him his first Life is Good shirt. The girls and I all have them and they had been wanting to get him one for some time. We looked hard and long and eventually found him a cool golfing one! Of course we all had to wear them to my parent and get our picture in them. With our sweet daddy in our lives....Life is Good!!!
