The first weekend in November is a very special time each year...It's C0rnhuskin!!! Of course I participated each year while I was at Meredith and I have taken the girls to the parade the past two years. They absolutely love going and seeing all the girls and hearing them serenade each other at the end...so Meredith! This year I was really sad when I realized that I would be in Fayetville at the Junior League show the same day as the parade!! My mom was watching the girls that day and she was willing to take them so they would not miss out. Well....a couple of days before the parade my cousin called who is the Cornhuskin co-chair for the sophomore class. She asked if the girls could be in the parade with her!!! Their theme centered around dolls and they had several little girls dress up as dolls and walk with them. I was even more sad to miss it, but so excited for the girls. Mom took lots of pictures so I could share in this sweet memory...thanks mom!!
