a week away from home

Last Saturday night as we were watching The Biggest Loser on the DVR I smelled gas coming from the vents in the den.....that's what started a fun and crazy week. We have been staying at my parents house, now known as the Bedford Inn ever since then. Jay and actually came home tonight (Thursday) and the girls will come home in the morning. We did get a whole new heating unit today so we are back in business. That was not a fun expense to receive...even crazier Jay came home this afternoon to cut the grass and our lawn mower died!!!! We shopped for new mower tonight on our date! All of us had the best time at mom and dads....a lot of yummy food and even more laughs! We even had dance party last night all together. Claire said "I want to jam out!" The girls got spoiled and so did Jay and I! The girls got to draw, ride their bikes, got to the park, have Easter egg hunts, watch TV, eat ice cream, take long baths...it was definitely like being on a vacation! Thank you so much mom and dad for having us all week! This week we also got to spend time with the Browns at Chic fil A kids night and go swimming with the girls friend Grace and her mom (indoor pool of course). We are glad to be sleepin in our own bed tonight, but we will miss our week at the Bedford Inn for sure!!! Maybe we will call and get a reservation again soon!
