fun at the fair!

Last Friday we headed to the fair with our family of four plus my parents. Our day was so awesome....much better than I ever thought it would be. We decided to brave it without any strollers and the girls did great. They walked around the fair like "big girls". They loved the rides, the animals, and of course the food. We let them splurge and share some cotton candy. Claire helped me and Jay eat a funnel cake and Ava split a candy apple with my mom. They were definitely on a sugar high that night! My highlight was watching the girls on the rides. They did three the first one (pictured) was a hot air balloon ride that went up and down and around.....but the second one was the greatest. It was a dragon roller coaster. Ava sat perfectly still the whole time and did not let go of the bar, but Claire started yelling "Wooooo" and waving every time it would go around and she would see us. The last ride they did was a train that was much more tame. This time Ava was so into it and was waving and Claire sat there like she was really bored and let down after the wild roller coaster! She is definitely the dare devil of the two. I can not wait to go back next year!
