This past weekend we took a winter trip to the beach. It rained one whole day, but the other two days were beautiful!!! One of our favorite things to do at the beach is to take the ferry to Southport. We have a favorite store there that has lots of Christmas items, stuffed animals, candy and ice cream...see why it is a favorite! Jay picked out the perfect doggie stocking for Molly while we were there! We had a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant and it was so pretty outside that we were able to sit out on the pier. It was fun to watch the boats going by and all of the seagulls flying above us. We took these pictures while we were waiting to get on the ferry. I love the one of Jay holding both of the girls. We used to cary them at the same time a lot when they were little. I am so happy that he can still do it, but it may only be for a few more years!
