beach pics

One of the highlights of our summer beach trips is the carnival at the Carolina Beach boardwalk. The girls look forward to going to much! As soon as we cross the bridge to get to the beach they begin asking "when we are going to the carnival"? They rode lots of rides and did the big trampoline jump too! I love that they chose to ride some rides together and some of them apart. Claire surprised us by riding a grown up ride like the Himalaya that was too fast for me and Jay....she LOVED it! The funniest part of the night was watching the girls and Jay do this ladder game. Ava saw it our first day at the beach and had her heart set on doing it. Basically you walk up a ladder and try to hit a buzzer, but as soon as you start walking the ladder twists and knocks you off. Like many carnival and fair games, it is almost impossible to win. My dad was sweet enough to pay for them to do it. We died laughing "with"them as they tried it. The guy running the game even let Jay take a turn at the end. He could not get to the top either! I had to put it on the blog so I would not forget about it...it is a memory for sure. I put the last picture of the girls on because I love it and I love pictures where they look so much alike!
