Christmas Day

We had a wonderful Christmas day celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ! We love doing Santa at our house, but always read the Christmas story from Luke on Christmas Eve and talk about the true meaning of Christmas. I never want the girls to loose sight of that! Santa did come to our house this year and Claire even saw Rudolph fly by her window on Christmas Eve night! He brought the girls three things each including a new leopard bike! They are excited to ride them, hopefully tomorrow since it is going to be warm! Jay and I also bought them some fun presents like a jewelry box with new pairs of earrings in it! Jay and I also made them a present this year. He made them each a doll bed and I made the "mattress" and linens. It was so fun to do together and it turned out really cute! We made it 18inches to fit their largest dolls Chloe and Anna that they play with the most. Chloe and Anna have slept in them every night since Christmas! After our fun family time at home Christmas morning we had lunch with Jay's family and dinner with mine. It makes for a long day, but it is so special to spend Christmas with all of our family. The girls had a great time playing with their cousins at both houses. That night we came home and got ready for the snow. How special was it to see snow on the ground before going to bed on Christmas day!!!
