Once again on New Year's Day we headed downtown to Big Ed's for breakfast! This was year #11 in a row that Stac and I have been together. We joined The Brueggemans and Maggie for a very yummy meal. I had my usual french toast, but went wild and ordered sausage as a side. I have probably eaten sausage less than 5 times in my whole life, but wanted it for some reason. It was really spicy which caused me to love it even more, and it was perfect with the sweetness of the french toast. The girls split a pancake which is bigger than any dinner plate you have ever seen and Jay had an omelet,which he enjoyed too! The girls had fun coloring Nate and Zach and I got to hear about all of the cool things that Santa brought the boys. I loved Nate's new shirt that he was wearing that had a monster truck on it and said, "Big Bad and Rad". After Big Ed's Stac, Mags and I headed to Crabtree for a little shopping and girl time. It was a wonderful first day of the year!!!
