We went to the fair on the one rainy day of the week! Even though it was a little wet, we had so much fun. We started our afternoon at the pig races with our friends the Flynns. Ava was picked out of the audience to represent the yellow duck..."piggy" gordon! Her duck won and she got a blue ribbon and has it hanging in her room! The girls rode two rides with Emmy and then we took off to eat some yummy food and see some animals. Christy was so sweet to take some pictures of our family for me. I took one picture of the girls in the rain in the driveway before we left, but decided not to bring my camera to the fair. As always we went to the poodle show that the girls love! I think they will want to see this show even when they are teenagers!!! After the poodles we went to see the chicks and ducks, and then saw the cows and an adorable donkey that was one week old! We girls rode a couple more rides and then did the hamster ball. This was the new attraction this year. The girls each climbed in a giant inflatable ball that was floating on water and tried to run like a hamster. Jay and I laughed so hard watching them and they loved it! Of course we enjoyed lots of fair food including hot dogs, fried dough and frozen cheesecake dipped in chocolate. As always the fair was just awesome!!!
