first day

I still have one more hour until I pick up the girls and I am dying to get up there, hug them and hear all about their day! They did great this morning when we dropped them off. My parents, Jay, and I walked the girls up today and took them to their classrooms. It was so fun to see them put their book bags up and find where to put their lunch boxes. We then got to see where each of their seats were at their tables. They were labeled with their names and they had to put on a name tag too! Ava was literally pushing us out of the classroom....yes with her arms. They were so excited to go to school today and that really helped ease my nerves. No tears were shed today by anyone and Jay and I are so proud of them!!!! I included a picture of me on my first day of Kindergarten that my mom has had out for the girls to see. They are standing in the same spot that I stood (we have painted brick now)! When I found the jean jumpers they are wearing I knew I had to get them because that is what I wore on my first day and those of you who know me well know I am all about memories and traditions!
