ice cream

We had a wonderful Memorial Day this year!!! My brother flew back to the United States after being in Africa for two weeks on a mission trip. It was so good to know he was home safely! We also enjoyed the afternoon at the Brueggeman's house for the annual ice cream churn off. All of the ice cream was so yummy!!! This year we made strawberry with Trader Joe's berries....it was really good. The other flavors represented this year were coffee, Oreo, grasshopper and cinnamon. I will have to say Maggie's cinnamon is always my favorite!!!! The kids loved playing on two different slip and slides and several pools with little slides! They had the best time together!!! The guys enjoyed their annual game of boccie ball and of course us ladies loved just being together and talking. My goal was to get a picture of the us this year because we never do. Thanks to our photographer Mike we got a great shot!!
