They girls are so excited to be playing soccer again. They played last year with their best friend Emmy and this year are playing with their best friend Grace!!! All four of them are in dance together this year too!!! I just love seeing my girls have such special friendships even at five years old! The girls did great last weekend at their first practice/game. Claire scored two goals and Ava scored one. I love watching both of them play, but Claire gets so into it and loves celebrating when anyone on her team scores....giving high fives and everything. Claire and Ava played on opposing teams, by their choice. They both took turns being the goalie too. I love the picture of Ava ready to defend her goal and sticking her lips out at the ball!!! Another fun part of the day was seeing four of the girls close friends and neighbors at the soccer field. It was great seeing all of them at the game and then coming home and being outside all together the rest of the afternoon. We love our neighbors so much!!! It was a beautiful spring day to start off their soccer schedule!
