I can not believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone! We had a wonderful day at mom and dad's house celebrating all that we have to be thankful for. We had a very relaxing day that started off like every other year watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The girls LOVE watching parades! Then we had a yummy lunch together that mom prepared all by herself. I felt a little bit bad not bringing anything! After lunch we had a short family sing along. Jay has learned several old hymns on his mandolin and the girls love singing them. Their favorite is Jesus Paid it All....it is so sweet to hear them sing those words! We went on our annual hike at Falls Lake to stretch and move after eating so much lunch! The weather was so pretty...it was a great day to be outside. The girls and Jay played on the playground there too! We ended the day with apple pie and ice cream and then got the leftovers back out for dinner....that is my kind of day. We missed Clay, Court and the girls so much this year, but got to talk to them on the phone! It was a great Thanksgiving!!
