I had to post one more time about our mountain trip. We had so much fun and took so many pictures that there is a lot to share about! I also had to include the view from the mountain cabin....a beautiful enormous Christmas tree farm. I can't wait to see it this winter covered with snow! On Saturday we had a family picnic at our favorite place to hike....the cascades. We love this hike because it ends at a beautiful waterfall. It also has many places where the girls can walk in the water which they love! This year they wore tennis shoes instead of their keens or crocs so we had to take off their socks and shoes and then dry them with my shirt when they were done! It was so worth it even though their little feet got freezing! It is safe to say now that I am definitely a mountains girl over a beach girl....sorry Carolina Beach!
