This week we made a special treat.....smores! We used Jay's firepit in the backyard and made a fire to roast our marshmellows. Ava was a little apprehensive about the fire and asked if we could use the candle in the kitchen to roast them instead...so funny! Claire started not feeling well this night she and I her just observed, but Ava and Jay had a blast. Don't get me wrong....I ate a smore for sure! Ava got so sticky but loved every minute of it. Who doesn't love melted chocolate with gooey marshmellows! It was a really fun after dinner treat that we will hopefully do many more times this summer!
