We had a wonderful Easter weekend, despite me still feeling so tired. I am however feeling much better than last week! On Saturday I came over to mom and dad's to meet them and the girls for lunch and to die our Easter eggs. They did such a great job drawing beautiful designs on the eggs while they were warm and then dying them the prettiest colors! Jay came over and we headed back to Homewood nursery to get a few more flowers for the yard! We then went home and Jay and Ava planted all the flowers while Claire and I "supervised"! It was so fun to see how interested Ava was in planting. She dug the holes, pinched the roots, put them in and covered them back up! Claire did great too.....sliding and playing on the playground!! She is like me...play is more fun than work! Last night I got to go to the airport and see one of my best friends and her husband bring home their sweet little boy and girl that they just adopted from Russia! It was amazing to see them walk through the doorway with these gifts from the Lord...it brought back many amazing emotions for me of bringing Claire and Ava home. Just seeing them stand there with their now three children was just a testament to how amazing God is and how perfect His plan is! What an amazing way to end my day!
