What a great afternoon to blog...it is cold and rainy and I already in my pj's at 4:00! I love these kinds of afternoons. We had a very packed, but fun week...we had something every morning and every afternoon this week! My week started last Sunday with a women's lunch with ladies from my church. We went to a yummy restaurant called Tossed which serves a wide variety of salads, hence the name! It was really good and I had the best time hanging out with my friends. It was also fun to connect with ladies I don't get to see and talk to that much! I am so thankful for my church body and how uplifting and encouraging they are to me! Monday the girls had school and I got to go fabric shopping with my friend Lynn...it was so fun helping her search for the right fabric! After dance that afternoon we hit Fat Daddy's for kids night....it is the cheapest and yummiest kids meal in all of Raleigh in my opinion...99 cents, they even have a clown who makes balloon animals and passes out coloring pages...it is quite an experience! On Tuesday we went to bible study and then had a play date with my sweet friend Claire and her two kids....it was dress up central! The girls love playing with Davis and Sarah Borden and I love talking to Claire! Wednesday was a huge highlight of the girls week....Pajama Day at school. They thought it was so cool that they got to wear their pajamas. They even laid down in class and watched a movie! I also watched a movie on Wednesday! I met my friend Kristin after work and we saw Confessions of a Shopaholic! It was the cutest and girliest movie ever! I love seeing movies like this, especially with Kristin! Thursday morning the girls got to go Nanny's...my mom's close friends who watches them often on Thursdays. She is definitely like their third grandmother. Claire had literally been crying for a solid week to go to her house. They love going there because Nanny not only loves them so much, but she spoils them too! Her special treat for them is usually raspberries and blueberries. This week they had girl scout cookies...who wouldn't want to go! They also got their very own planners and calculators from her husband....they have written lots of important info in them so far! Thursday night I hosted a social at my house for my small group from bible study. It is such a sweet group of girls and it was awesome hearing what God has taught us all from our study of the book of John. Friday morning the girls had another play date with their friend Grace from school. They loved having her come to play and eat lunch and of course there was a lot of dress up going on! Friday night we had our good friends Chip and Christy over with their girls. We made tacos and ended the night with a wild dance party. It was so much fun hanging out with them! Yesterday was pretty laid back...just a trip to the gym! Today we went to church and then went to Marbles on the way home. We were all so excited to go and I couldn't wait to take some cute pictures of the girls, but of course my battery died as soon as I got there....I managed to get two pictures by turning it on and off really quickly. On picture is of the girls playing hockey, which was me and Jay's favorite thing to watch today. They went in the rink with one other girl and lots of boys, most of them older and totally had a blast! They were scoring goals and loving it. Every time Claire would score, she would raise her arm up in the air and cheer for herself...it was too cute! I had so much fun this week being surrounded by my family and so many friends that are so dear to me! We are hoping for a leisurely snow day tomorrow!

Please tell me that every week is not this busy!! It makes me tired to read about EVERYTHING you had going on all week! It does sound like you had a terrific time. :-)
I just noticed that the girls' marbles stickers said MEMBER! You finally joined?? Yay! You know that means we'll have to go together again...Camden would love it!
oh jen, i love you, but you totally spelled my name wrong :) haha the joys of being a "christin" that starts with a c!
