happy 4th!

We had a wonderful and relaxing day today! We went to Shelley Lake this morning fed the ducks, had a picnic lunch and played on the playground for a few minutes....it was soooo hot! After nap time we went to Zebulon and hung out with Rich, Bon Bon, Uncle Brian, Aunt Tracy, Caelie and Zayden. Brian and his family flew into Raleigh on Tuesday and the girls have gotten together several times to play already....more pics to come. We went to Parker's for dinner tonight and got some yummy BBQ! Claire ate a whole plate of Brunswick Stew and both girls loved their hush puppies! We laid the girls down about 8:30 and a few minutes later we heard the loudest booming noises. I was sitting here at the computer and the walls of the office were vibrating. Jay ran to our master bath and out of the window you could see the fireworks from North Ridge Country Club. We got the girls out of bed and they stood on our hamper with us behind them and we watched the fireworks. They were beautiful and it really was a perfect ending to a great day!
