"the fever"

Well after a long break from blogging I am back! The past few weeks have been pretty tough for me. I found out that I have Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and I have been so sick. Today is honestly the first day in two weeks that I felt like I could sit at the computer without being totally exhausted or sick to my tummy. I have had so many friends and of course my parents and Jay's that have been so encouraging and helpful during this time. Thank you to all of you!! This week the girls have spent a lot of time with their grandparents and the Gouges (their third set) which has been so great for me as far as being able to rest, but emotionally it has been hard. I am so proud of them for being such big girls and listening so well! The time I have had with them has been so sweet.....reading book after book, playing games, you name it we have done it! They are home tonight in bed right now talking and singing before they fall asleep and it is the best sound in the world to me! I am so glad to have them home! I am hopefully going to get better and stronger each day, my trust is in the Lord. The doctor did some more testing today and I have to have another procedure next week, but I know I will get better soon. As far as this post, of course I could not have one without a picture, so here is the only one I've got, but it's a good one! Jay's secretary took this of him at work this week and emailed it me...it definitely brightened my day. One of his manager's customers came into their office this week with his pet monkey! All the agents got to hold her and pose for a picture. Jay said when the guy set her down in his hands she reached her arms right up and around his neck for a little snuggle. Claire and Ava of course think this is the funniest and cutest thing....and yes, she is wearing a diaper!
