trip to the museum

Ellie and Baylor have been in Raleigh for a couple of days as Clay and Court enjoy an anniversary trip. Claire and Ava have been in heaven getting to see and play with their cousins so much. On Thursday my dad and I took Claire, Ava and Ellie downtown to the Museum of Natural Sciences. It was the girls first time to visit and they loved it. They got to see some really neat animals and also touch some! We went to a story time with my friends Lauren and Court and their little ones. This sweet lady read a book about animal tails and then brought out four animals for the kids to touch. I could not believe the animals she had and the girls loved and touched all of them. There was a baby alligator, an opossum, a lizard and a snake!!! It was definitely quite an adventure. The girls loved seeing their friends Jackson, Ryan, Kate of course Emily and Madeline and they got to spend the whole day with their cousin Ellie and Granddaddy Harry....what more could they ask for!
