farm days

For the past few weeks me and the girls have been getting together with my sweet group of friends and their little ones and visiting parks around the area. It is such a great time of fellowship....the kids love playing together and us moms get to catch up a little bit too! Today instead of going to a park we headed to NC State Farm Days! All of the kids loved seeing and petting some of the animals, sitting on a tractor and of course getting ice cream at the end!! My personal favorite was seeing the little chicks. They were so cute and fluffy and the lady working there said they were hatched yesterday!

After we were done we headed to our friend Lynn's house for lunch. She had the most yummy lunch all set out for us. Lynn has such a serving heart and is always the best hostess....her creativity and planning is right up there with Martha Stewart!! After lunch Courtney took the kids in the back yard and played games with them. They all ran and ran and had a ball! I am sure that is why my girls are sound asleep right now! Thanks Court! The cutest thing was watching them hold hands and sing ring around the rosie and fall down together....they are just so cute playing together. Vera and Kate watched everyone play and it won't be long until they are joining in! We missed Ethan, Ryan and Madeline today and hope to play with them next week!
