As many of you know, and I have blogged about before Claire has an obesession with cats. Since the third week in October(believe me, I know the date) she has pretended to be a kitty cat named Sophie. Sometimes I have to ask her to stop being Sophie and to please be Claire. For instance if I am trying to see what she would like for lunch many days instead of responding "a cheese sandwhich" she just looks at me and meows. This was funny and cute for about week but now we are going on four months!!! I know this pretend cat behavoior is typical for a three year old and that this is a phase but I hope that when she is five she walks into her kindergarten class she says hello to the teacher instead of crawling in and meowing!

Many morning I am greeted by Ava and "Sophie" but this week for the first time Ava was walking Sophie! By themselves they had constructed a collar and a leash out of their belts. Thank goodness the collar was very loose(and it has remained that way!) They love this new game and walk around downstairs pretending they are outside on a walk together! How funny!!
